Series 2 & Premier cannot see each other

    Ok,

    I have a Series 2 DT in my bedroom and a Premier in my living room. Both are connected via LAN (actually on the same switch in my living room) but after a couple of days to tw0 weeks my Premier cannot see the Series 2 to transfer shows. Rebooting the Series 2 fixes the issue for a couple of days to two weeks. Anyone know whats going on? Is there a way I can remotely restart my Series 2 via ssh or something (I have a Linux server running 24/7).

    reboot the premiere

    I rebooted both of them since I didn't want to wait for them to pickup their new IPs (I gave them a static assignment so the TiVo remote app on my Droid R2D2 can easily find the Premiere).
