I've had the TIVO Premiere for about 2 weeks now. I set up a Season Pass for "The Pacific" on HBO HD (ch 300- comcast) "First Run Only" and it say's on my "To Do List" it scheduled to record an old episode on Monday night. Is this another Bug?

Did it record that episode already. The tivo does not care if this is the first showing or not. It will record ANY episode that is aired withing so many days (I forget the exact number) of its original air date IF IT HASN'T ALREADY RECORDED THE SAME EPISODE.

    Right.

Any episode broadcast for the first time in past 28 days is considered new, so long as the DVR hasn't recorded it before. Once an episode is recorded, it won't be recorded again, because the TiVo keeps track of all episodes recorded by the DVR in the past 28 (or is it now 60?) days, and any episode older than 28 days is considered a repeat.

I think you're correct. I just got done updating my HD tivo with a new hard drive and it's hell bent for leather to record any episode from the past month no matter if I have my season pass set to record only new episodes or not.

The 28 day rule is a good thing.
