Search problems - Help!

    Ok I know this is probably a supernewbie question but I can't figure this out and its driving me nuts!!!

    I just bought my first Tivo Premier (I bought the Elite) and tonight I started setting shows to record. No matter how I search it only shows my shows in HD, not standard which is what I want to record.

    What am I missing?!??!?

    looks like that is the default setting. whether it is a recording or season pass you have the option to change the channel.

    I know I can switch the channel after the search but then I have to figure out what the non-HD alternative channel is every time I set a recording. There has to be some way for the search to show the non-HD option. I know I may be way too "blonde" but I really cant figure this out.

    Anyone know how to fix this????

    After you find the show via search, go to "view Upcoming Episodes" and select to record on the non-HD channel.

    You can also go to settings-->channels and uncheck all HD channels so they don't come up in search.
