Seal Team S01E06 The Spinning Wheel Did not record listed as repeat
My Roamio recorded it. But it recorded it in two pieces since my box did a restart on its own at 9:11. So it lives in two pieces. My feed has it at 9pm.
OP, did you cancel the recording last week or let it record? I cancelled it prior to airing (the repeat).
I assume that if you let it record last week, TiVo captured the new episode guide data and then flagged this week's new episode (with guide data that matched last week) as "not new".
I missed it until too late for TiVo.
Mine is flagged as new, but it didn't record. I did let it record last week and that's probably why.
Must be regional TiVo guide??? Mine was listed as repeat but air date was current.
Don't know. I didn't check it last night, but it was flagged as new this morning. I had recorded Criminal Minds last week too, but it was also flagged as new and recorded last night, so I'm not sure why the difference.
Oh, the mysteries of TiVo. lol
Not available On Demand yet, but was able to watch on the CBS website using Chromecast with our 70" TV, so all is good.
I had repeats recorded 01-Nov-2017 instead of these programs, I presume due to game 7:
Chicago PD S05E06 "Fallen"
Criminal Minds S13E06 "The Bunker"
Seal Team S01E06 "The Spinning Wheel"
Next week on 08-Nov-2017 they all recorded again with the correct new episodes. kmttg says both versions of each program have the same "ProgramId" but the values for "ProgramId_unique" are different. TiVo seems to be handling this correctly in some markets and but in yours. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with whether or not one recorded the reruns.
This is an improvement over the past where in such situations, I was almost guaranteed to have missed the subsequent airing of the actual episode as the guide data would have been interpreted as a repeat. It is rare to praise the guide data after the Rovi transition, but I give credit where it is due.
