SD Channels showing as HD

    I am on Optimum cable and am seeing recently that SD channels are indicating as HD, even though the actual channel is SD. I have a Roamio Plus. This becomes a problem when creating a One Pass for all channels, never hd, as it will not record because Tivo box thinks the SD channel is HD.

    I'm not sure if this is a cable provider problem or a Tivo Guide issue. I would appreciate any insight in how I can correct this problem.

    What I do in that case is go to the channel map and mark that channel as not in use, because I would never record a program in SD when an HD version is available.

    This a TiVo guide issue, if you want it resolved you will need to report it to TiVo here. In the meantime, you will need to set a specific channel for your One Passes rather than all channels; the HD specification is not relevant when you specify a specific channel.
