I was getting the "this channel is temporality unavailable" message on only one of my TIVO's. I took off the coxial cable, made new lines with new cable and I havent had any problems since. Maybe that will help your problems

As for the 2 channels, it was a head end problem. They called me today around 3:30pm and told me they had fixed the issue. To my surprise, they had indeed fixed 128 and 134.

Finally, Roland asked that I post the TWC San Antonio TA contact number here. This is ONLY for TWC San Antonio people who are having issues with the Tuning Adaptor.

Fair enough. :) Yes, I do have the TA now; picked it up first thing Monday morning, set it up that evening.

Maybe a dumb question... but how does one go about getting the d130 package? I'm having the same problem as the post you quoted. Can support just "zap" the card?

But on one cable card only (cc 2).

I sat and talked with Roland today and he confirmed it's an issue with my CableCARDs not 'seeing' the D130 package. Interestingly, he said my account has a 'D130-2' due to my apartment complex subsidizing my account. New to you ZEROKILL?

Just called up the number and had things straightened out in about five or ten minutes. Still got to verify all the various channels and figure out what I'm actually getting, but seems to be much better now. They mentioned that these problems seem to be in a lot of customer accounts, so hopefully once the initial callers are taken care of, they'll set aside time for someone to review all the TA/CC accounts and get folks who may not know better set up. In any case, thanks for the help, guys, here and at TW!

To confirm the prior comments from FoxFireX, it looks like things are now fixed with the D130 package. They where cagey on details, but all looks good now after a bunch of people called in.

I picked up my TA and installed, rebooted the tivo and all is well. I get the channels that have been mentioned as missing (AEHD, 162-165...). I should mention that I only saw a few switched channels before the reboot.
All in all it was a quick and easy transition. Happy to have a Tivo now.
    I'm located in New Braunfels.
Anyone else have the digital phone service? I don't get the caller Id on the tv, was hoping this would come through.

Hum. 162-165 are unencrypted, which means they are not SDV. You should have gotten them before the TA.

Pretty sure they can fix your problems.

Enforcer, I had my doubts and I've been ready to just deal with not having those 4 missing channels 162-165. But, I'll tell ya Daniel (Roland's co-worker) came through like a champ and had me fixed in no time. Those dudes answered the phone first ring, courteous, and eager to help. I passed on my satisfaction to their supervisor.

I think although there were a couple of minor stumbles along the way we should consider the TWC San Antonio Tuning Adapter deployment to have been a success. Don't you all agree?

What is the power arrangement on the TA? Straight AC power cord like regular STB's? Wall wart transformer plugging into outlet? Power cord with brick in the middle?

The Cisco datasheet on the web shows a DC input on TA. However, some docs posted recently by someone who got a TA from TWC shows a regular AC inlet.

    Thanks,

Having a group of guys dedicated to fixing the first few days hiccups was a great idea. I would agree that the TWC SA roll out was way better than my wildest dreams. Can't say how happy I am to finally have all my HD channels.

Two thumbs up for giving out a phone number so we could avoid all the regular CSR's who are generally clueless about anything related to the TIVO.
