I replaced my old Samsung TV with a new Samsung TV and now it doesn't recognize my Tivo Bolt. I've tried turning on and off CEC with no help. I know it's being seen because if I unplug the Tivo and plug it back in it I can see the little TiVo guy and I see the almost there screen then the screen goes black and Samsung says no signal. I've also tried different HDMI cables and different HDMI inputs to no avail. Anyone know what's going on or have any suggestions?

Plug it in to the old TV and force the output resolution to 720P or 1080i (or P) and see if that works.

Thank you for the suggestion, i will give that a shot in the morning. The old TV died that's why I replaced it but I will try it on my bedroom TV after the wife goes to sleep.

Well, that's interesting, the exact same issue on the bedroom TV, I see the Tivo logo, then the almost there screen, the screen goes black and the TV says no signal. The bedroom TV is a Sony, the behavior is identical. I almost wonder if it's the TiVo.

Ding, ding, ding. If you are seeing the opening logo, obviously the TV is getting a signal. Something is up with the TiVo. Power supply?

I recently saw a TV that didn't like the 480P boot-up resolution, but as soon as the switch to 1080P occurred, right before TiVo Central loaded, the screen would come back on.

Maybe the resolution is just off.

Doesn't the TiVo Bolt have a Format Button on it? On the back?

    Try that?

When you say you tried different cables did you try shorter ones? My new Samsung would not pick up the TiVo signal until I used a very short cable. I then replaced the longer one in the wall with a fiber optic one and it worked.
