S3 Pixellates in HD only, HD is fine

I have 2 TiVos, a series 3 with HD expander and a brand new stock HD.

Both are running v11.0

The HD has one mCard, the S3 has 2 single channel cards (Charter Cable)

The signal S/N numbers are virtually identical

The S3 is having pixellation/stutter issues on HD channels only (both cablecards, as far as I can tell) but the HD sees the same channel/programming fine.

SD programming on both seems fine.

I've tried a kickstart 57 on the S3 with no discernable effect.

Any ideas of what could be causing this?
