S2 140 Hour TiVo won't update to 9.1

    My Series 2 TiVo is at 8.3. When I connect to the Tivo service, it downloads an update (status changes to "pending restart") and during reboot it says it is installing an update. But when the reboot is complete the Tivo is still at 8.3.

    I can reconnect to the Tivo service and it'll go through the process again, but it never updates.

    Any ideas?

    Is your TiVo hacked (other than drive upgrade)? If so, as in the Underground.

    Thanks! I am pretty sure I got it with the 140 Hour drive directly from TiVo. However I have so many TiVos that I can't keep it all straight -- some are weaknees-upgraded. None of my TiVos are hacked.
