Advertisements Hello all, I kept getting the S03 error even when I forced a manual connection to Tivo (over the network). My network was fine - no issues, no issues transferring streaming content during this time. I even forced a connection ensuring that 'nothing' was going on (tuning adapter off, no streaming) - still S03. I then used kickstart 57 - research on this seemed to indicate that this would try to perform a sort of fsck or disk check to see if the disk could be cleaned up and made sane, to see if this was the issue. Now I have a worse problem in that the S3 is unusable. It's stuck in a green-screen loop - I always get the "Powering up" and "almost there" screens, and then I get the same green screen telling me I have a serious problem and that it could take up to three hours to fix. I've tried a kickstart 54, and it does seem to be able to go into kickstart mode, but still - green screen. I have a dream that there could be diagnostics available to put on a USB drive and insert into the S3...but I think it's a dream. It seems that the initial indication is that the drive is now unusable and must be replaced. Anything else I should try before surgery?
