S03 Error After Upgrade Clear and Delete Stuck

    Help from the knowledge base.

    I recently (three or four months ago) upgraded my failing hard drive to a larger HD using following the directions here http://tivo.upgrade-instructions.com/step1.php. Everything has worked flawlessly except the fact that I started to get the S03 error code when it would make the daily call.

    Two days ago I tried the clear and delete as suggested in other posts. It ran for roughly 48 hours but has not completed.

    Any suggestions on whats next. I don't have the old drive and I don't have a backup of the old drives image. Is there a way to simply get the unit back up and running and I simply won't make the daily call?
