S02 error

    my tivo was disconnected for 2 months. just reconnected it. I can connect, it downloads the data, but the last step, loading info, fails.

    I tried rebooting.

    Connection works well.

    Any ideas why the error?

    thanks. the loading error is gone when i tried this morning.

    however, despite the process finishing, my guide that lists shows only says "to be announced".

    ok, got a message to try guided set-up, and gives a warning if my cable company set this up. sounds ominous. ;) is it ok to go ahead?

    {note - did the set-up, all systems go; just odd that it connected fully last night, yet the loading that happens post connection didn't work]

    First think I would do is check out your lineup & listings on tvguide.com. Just enter your zipcode and provider. I have two Premiere boxes that I only power up on weekends. It can take 12 hours to get full listings after the download is finished.

    With the guide changeover, I can only get my provider if I use the zipcode of my local cable office. The provider shown for my zipcode works, but it hasn't existed for two years.

    I would avoid a Guided Setup if possible. Try multiple connections first.
