Just stumbled across this on Netflix. Fantastic show. Only 8 (not 6 as I originally said) short episodes. I've watched 3 and it's really developing well with subtle changes in each episode. Produced & some writing by Amy Poehler.

The trailer is heavily spoilery but mainly just for episode 1.

You are correct, I mixed up the short episodes and the short season :)

I watched the first two episodes yesterday. Not sure the show is for me.

Watched the first episode. I like the general premise, but both my wife and I are struggling with Natasha Lyonne in this role so far, and

Of all the things we could watch happen over and over again, the party is pretty underwhelming as a choice.

Still, we will return to it... sooner or later.

Yeah, I don't know if it is her, or her character. Like she shows up for a code review at work. She's there for 2 minutes, gets a phone call and leaves. Announcing she has to go meet her drug dealer, which is what she actually did. I guess maybe there are jobs that open, but that just seemed very weird to me.

One thing they hinted at, though...
the coding mistake they pointed out turned out to be somebody else's, and she was able to recognize it instantly and fix it on the spot. So it seems that she might be a very highly-valued employee, whose...eccentricities might be overlooked.
(Bearing in mind that I've only seen two episodes so far, so I don't know if this ever gets addressed again...)

    About her job:

I think Rob has it right that the code review scene is intended to show us that they cut her slack because she's so good. It's also revealed that she designed at least a couple of hugely popular games. Explaining her absence from work doesn't really seem necessary, though, since in most timelines she is dead by morning and most companies would excuse her absence for that reason alone.

    Regarding @TAsunder comment

The party setting starts to become more clear as the episodes progress

It like she is the same character from OITNB just in a different show. She did not change her style at all.

That is who she is and she's not the only actor in the world like that. That said I thought she really did a great job here. You have to watch to the end to really understand and showed a whole side of her I have not seen before.

I finished it last night and thought it was fantastic. They managed to keep changing the tone and focus every 30 minutes or so and it was great.

Watched through Ep. 5. Will probably finish it tonight. So far I think it's pretty great, and for those worried about the party getting boring don't worry, the entire series is not set at that party.

I finished this show last night. I'm really impressed with how the story developed and especially what they did in the last episode.

Yeah, I got a little worried as it progressed that it...wouldn't end well. That is, in a satisfying way. But it did!

Excellent! The 8 episodes really flew by in the 3-4 days it took for me to binge. A little on the trippy side and I loved it. I agree the ending was well done and a great pay-off.
The episode started with everything looking great and Alan and Nadia thinking they've fixed the bug. Only to realize they're now in different timelines and doing all they can to save their soul mates (don't know what else to call their deep connection). The closing shots with the split screen of the parallel timelines was a nice way to end the season.
Apparently there will be a season 2. Will be a high bar for them to cross to avoid a letdown.

    I liked that...
the producers left it vague as to exactly how the two sets of couples would merge into a single reality.

I think the fact that there will be a season 2 is a huge spoiler. I was concerned all the way through about the very clear references to Season 1, but I now think they did that on purpose.

I've only had time for Ep 1, but I enjoyed it. I look forward to having time to binge the rest of it.

Thought this was great as well. Very unique take on the groundhog day genre. Yes there is now a groundhog day genre...LOL...
