As someone with a little daughter, I love the TiVo filters on My Shows.
Selecting "Kids" shows only her stuff, selecting "TV Series" shows just my stuff.
It's a huge usability win, both for me and my kid.

Then came the Rovi guide data. Now my dad view is mostly shows like "Peppa Pig", "WordGirl", "Sarah & Duck" &"Sofia the First" because they are not correctly flagged as being kid shows.
Similarly my kid can't find those shows because Kids view now excludes them.

If there is a place to file actual bugs against the Rovi guide data, please point me at it.

I'd suggest not letting your daughter watch mind control programming like "Peppa Pig"

Rovi seems to have a problem distinguishing between children's and adult programming, based on this example I posted a couple weeks ago.

Well known issue and TiVo is not going to fix it. Countless kids shows are now in the tv series category and not tagged kids. Seems like an easy fix, let us tag.

As far as peppa pig being mind control, you can say that about anything or you can watch with your children and talk about it. Far from mind control.

I've seen this countless times, or how about an episode number being the same but with a different description.

Suddenly hopper, directv genie or Comcast X1 seem relevant , unless you like to pay to be a beta tester.

I think I got it correctly. Plenty of folks think it is mind control, do a Google search.

Yep plenty of people appear to be living in the twilight zone and find conspiracies at every turn and under ever rock. Not only do lots of people flat out love to just make sh** up, the scary part is many people actually believe it. As it appears the new standard for reality is once someone make some sh** up after it is said/repeated enough times it becomes a fact.

My Son, now almost 3yrs has watched a few but never has asked to rewatch it. Paw Patrol on the other hand, is a favourite. Some Voodoo stuff right there. Probably subliminal Trump messages frame flashing at him.

Rovi has decimated the value of their purchase by implementing their own guide data, which, frankly, is awful.

Agreed. The program descriptions look like someone doing their creative writing 101 homework very badly. Just give me the damn facts please.
