I purchased the Roamio Pro in Aug. 2015. The red lights were just fine until today they somehow dimmed on their own. They are very hard to see now. Does anyone have any help as to how I can return to the bright red lights?

Not sure I bought mine from a third party and light is very dim he says it never skipped a scheduled show but how can be sure it's recording? Is it serviceable?

You could try turning them off and then turning them back on. And there is the restart.

I tried both and called tivo and they said the dimness isn't normal can barely see it during the day.

    1. Get a good LED from a broken Roamio Pro.
      .
    2. Buy another Red LED and adapt it to 'fit'.
The right half of the green LED circle on my Refurb Roamio Basic started randomly going OFF, coming back ON, going OFF and finally settled on OFF, so when the summer doldrums / repeats come around and I open it up to replace the 500GB HDD with a 4TB, I'll also swap the LED panel with a spare from one of the 3 $25 Refurb Roamio OTAs I bought from Woot...

It's been several months since I had one open. The best that I can remember right now is that there were no screws, maybe a few tabs - the kind where it's REAL easy to snap the LED panel IN, REAL hard to get the LED panel OUT wo breaking a tab, or two (which is where my Hot Glue Gun may come into play)...

Sort of like opening an external HDD case to remove the HDD (or opening a TiVo Slide Remote case to clean out the alkaline battery leakage ;) ); easy-to-manufacture / assemble; difficult-to-repair / disassemble.
