Anyone else watching? Comedy set in the mid 80s. Better than decent, a lot of good actors, but ten 1/2 hour shows is a bit short.

I'm enjoying it. I think I'm on episode 5, but haven't watched it in a week or so. Love seeing Paul Reiser again!

Watched it last week. It's great. Nicely cued up fora season two. Hope they renew.
10x30m. Reminds me of great British comedy like the office.
10 episodes also maps to 10 weeks of summer.

started to watch this. Had issues with doing it via a OnePass, as that seemed to subscribe to the UltraHD version of it and my TiVo just refused to play it. But going into the Amazon app and selecting the non-UltraHD version worked.

Seen the first three episodes so far. Liking it. Some good 1980s cheesy goodness.

Watched Episode 2 last night. At one point one of the guys used the term "Epic"...which struck me as being out of context...but I'll try not to over-analyze this amusing series!

The Producers / Writers said they did not want a pastiche but more an affection to the era.

on the surface calls to mind ’80s bellwethers like “Caddyshack” and “Dirty Dancing.” But it’s more warmhearted and low-key than those — the film from that period that it feels most like is probably “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.” As if to reinforce that connection, the “Red Oaks” producers hired Amy Heckerling, whose career began with “Fast Times,” to direct several episodes.

It certainly doesn't need to be a period piece. But it's kind of fun that it is.

Finished plowing through this today. It's very watchable. Flows nicely from one episode to the next. ideal for a binge watch.

I really liked almost all of the characters. The only one I really didn't like at all was the photographer guy. But he was so cheesy, I could at least laugh at it all.

David's girlfriend was hot in that big hair 1980s way. And the workout outfits. lol. So retro. :D She was pretty cool too. Pretty. Nice. Had something more going on than just the aerobics. Studying to be a nurse

I knew she wasn't gonna actually hook up with the photographer guy, but at the same time, you could tell she wanted someone/something a bit more mature than David

Wheeler cracked me up. Misty? Hawt. I could have sworn I recognized the actress from some place. That I had seen her in something. Looked up who played her. ( Alexandra Turshen )Didn't recognize the name. Looked that up, didn't really recognize or remember seeing anything she was in either. Still, she seems familiar. Must be confusing her with someone else. Anyway, they were fun together. She was nice, too. Even if she had a meathead of boyfriend.

Skye? Liked her. She and David are good for each other.

Hope there will be a season two. Wonder if they will do just another summer at Red Oaks?

really, a good series. I'd recommend it to anyone that likes something light and funny. But not really stupid funny (well, except maybe the "Freaky Friday"-esque episode. )

This was a fun show to watch. I really liked the characters, and I agree the overall flow was perfect for binge watching.

Did not enjoy it after watching the pilot. Does it improve singificantly? Felt too much like Wet Hot American Summer, and it didn't have very many laughs.

Enjoyed it, changed my mind that the 10 1/2 hour shows was perfect.

Definitely a fun show at the end of a long day. The head tennis instructor was a deeper character than anyone as the show went on I thought.

He's also on FX's Married when it airs in the summer (2 seasons so far I think).

And the Paul Reiser show but that was so bad only 2 episodes made it out of the vault.
