Question About Video Input

    yeah hey i just recently bought a tivo and was wondering how do you play video games through it....like so i can record it...what channel do i go on and stuff like that...ok thanks

    They'll be a delay when the TiVo get's the signal from the video game machine, stores it on the hard drive, and plays it back onto the TiVo. It'll make it pretty hard to play games through the TiVo.

    The DVD recorder versions of TiVo are the only ones with video input.

    But if y ou use RF cable (not a cable box) as input to your TiVo, you can change your input to "satellite and TiVo" (repeat guided setup to do this). Pick any satellite company and delete all but one channel. Then that satellite channel becomes your line-in. It's a kludge, but it works.

    yes i understand that you have to have the satellite now thanks...but i already set it up with cable and cant figure out how to change it can you help...thanks again

    Choose "repeat guided setup".

    settings//restart or reset system//repeat guided setup
