So, recently Verizon did its first 4K QAM broadcast, which people were able to successfully record on their bolts. My understanding (which may be incorrect) is that the main barrier to 4K transfers on Pytivo has been the lack of working file formats on which to model the transfer. I'm wondering if it's now possible to get 4K transfers working since there are working compatible files.

Did you record it? Were you able to transfer it to your PC? If so can you send a sample?

Thank you for looking into this-PyTivo tranferred recordings remain my favorite way to watch HD content and it would fantastic if I could use it for 4k too.

Yes, sadly a bigger barrier may now may be the lack of transfer support in TE4. Does 4K recording even work on TE3? Does anyone know?

Send me a sample if you can...
