Yeah, that strikes me as being exactly the kind of thing these people would do...

 

I loved the scene where Shawn found the woman's body slumped over the chair and said the lines "Annie, are you ok? Are you ok, Annie?" without making an overly obvious callback to the song "Smooth Criminal."

 

Oh, and on the Justine Bateman appearance, I honestly thought that was Rowan Atkinson in drag or at the very least, "Mrs. Bean."
