Problem connecting via phone line

    I have a Scientific Atlanta 3250HD reciever and Time Warner Digital cable, high speed internet and digital phone. When I am trying to get my channels it will prepare, connect, and download (for awhile). Then it will say that the call is interupted and say it was unsuccessful. How do I fix this problem?

    Tivo manufacturer and model number? Tivo software version?

    Sorry, TiVo Series 2. Don't know the software version.

    Start by asking if the VoIP provider claims to support modems. If yes, make them fix it. If not, you can try all sorts of hacks and kludges to work around their limitations, or you can get your TiVo on broadband.

    Is there a wired and wireless diagram in that post? And how do I find out what software I am using on my tivo?
