You can put the mini + WiFi dongle in your cart and then remove the dongle and the mini is $120
I tried that, it removes both.
Oh it worked earlier, they must have fixed it
From earlier today (I didn’t buy it so I don’t know if it would have been honored):
So, why didn't I get this sales email?
They don't like you
To bad all my old minnis wont run Amazon prime. I can't justify the price of this Vox mini upgrade unfortunately Unless someone here wants to buy 3 of my old minis?
I received two, so maybe they sent me yours.
I can believe that. My mother used to pay the neighborhood kids to play with me. However, they should like my money.
What model? 93000??
How is that $90 off. My message said $90 off, Mini is normally $179.
Check your Tivo messages.
It’s $90 off the bundle of Mini + WiFi dongle.
They’re not advertising any straight discount on just the Mini.
$120 is the cheapest I’ve ever seen a new Mini Vox.
For what it’s worth I able again this morning to remove the dongle from my cart and the mini remained.
Ok since the Apple TV / Roku apps have been put on “hold” I’ve been considering a mini for awhile but have no Ethernet / internet jacks in my bedroom (only cable jack) I have no idea about these moca bridges. So have been looking into the wireless adaptor. This is a great deal. Can someone help with the fact it says a 5 GHz network is required. How would I know if I have that lol? I have time Warner “extreme internet” but when they switched to spectrum I’m not sure what tier it is now. I’ve done the speed test thing online but where do I find if it’s 5G or not. I assume this is in my router somewhere but don’t know how to get into settings. I assume I probably don’t since I have a newer modem but the router is several years old? So the TiVo usb WiFi adapter wouldn’t work correct? Please help I’m not that tech savvy haha
EDIT: forgot to add the main box is a Roamio Pro running TE4 in the living room also connected to the WiFi.
you probably have it, double check with your provider that you have AC internet (these days they are calling it Wifi5). It's NOT the same as 5G, that's a different thing. I can't imagine a router setup in the last 5 years doesn't have 5ghz, but it's possible.
It’s not a speed, it’s a frequency.
You likely have 2 networks, a 2.4ghz and 5ghz. Do you have a 5ghz device such as a newer iPhone? You can search for networks and see if 2 pop up. Depending on your location to your router your Roamio should be able to see a 5ghz network too.
It’s likely you have 5ghz. If you don’t see a network with it pop up, you may just not have it enabled in your router.
If you don’t have it, swapping for another router should be what you need.
Thanks for your reply. I googled that model number of my router and amazon and CNET seem to say it’s only 2.4ghz. So guess it’s too old. According to Amazon it was released in 2010. This is the one I have...

Thanks. I had a message that a sale was going on, and to go to Tivo.com for details. I didn't see anything on Tivo.com about a sale. I checked my account, and I should be getting emails about promotions. Not important, as long as there are others here who will share.
It's all in post 1. I was disappointed that there's nothing there about the EDGE.
Is that your own router you own? If so, just go buy a new one for like $50.
Or, have Spectrum give you a new model/router combo device. You’re probably already renting a modem, just upgrade to new hardware.
Then get your WiFi dongle and mini and you’re set!
Ive always owned the router because Time Warner charged extra for WiFi. I was renting the modem years ago and again Time Warner kept raising the fees for that too so I bought a Motorola SB6141 that paid for itself in no time. With the merger I’m not sure what spectrum charges now but I know I have a grandfathered in plan and if I make any changes I have to switch over totally to a Spectrum plan. I know the internet may be better but I think the cable tv bundle I have currently is a better deal. I’ll have to look in to it again. Or like you suggested maybe I’ll just buy a new router. Thanks again
