Advertisements I only have HBO at this point, and I waffle back and forth on that. I think there's only a couple of series I watch on it now, with Big Love being over. I like Bored to Death and Boardwalk Empire, and when it comes back Curb Your Enthusiasm. I watch the occasional documentary and Real Sports (I can live without that one) and Boxing (another thing that has gone downhill....they have 3rd tier fights now, the same type of fights that used to be on ESPN or network TV back 20 years ago). As for the movies, sure there are less, and I've seen most of them by the time they get to HBO despite never getting to a theater. But it's simple enough to record a lot of movies when they have their preview weekends and watch them when I get a chance. So really, having the premiums are not a bid deal unless you are hooked on a series.
