Advertisements Hi, Problem: Lately my Tivo HDs3 has been hanging while attempting to download a subscribed podcast video (blue dot), also leaving it unable to connect to scheduling service. If I try to stop recording, the OS freezes. Restart still tries to download and hangs again. Support has no idea how to cancel subscribed Podcasts; there seems to be no listing either in Season Pass nor Video On Demand. Solution A; brute force Tech Sup suggested powering down everything, including Router, then booting without Router. Not a graceful solution although it works until the next time. My External drive is not thrilled with this method and only comes back 50% of the time. Solution B; graceful cure of the symptom A much better and immediate cure is to disable Video Downloads (Home Media access?). I did via website but I imagine it works via Settings too. I am hoping when I reactivate video downloading the subscriptions will be lost, but I won't know until it attempts another download. Does anyone know: What the underlying cause is and/or cure? How to clear (all) podcast subscriptions?
