Pioneer 810H Series 2 hanging up

    I bought my Pioneer 810HS not too long after they were introduced (2002?). It's an original box and has worked flawlessly.

    Recently, it's been freezing up twice a week and requires a restart (pull the power plug and power up). It'll work fine for a few more days, then it needs to be restarted again. It never freezes while the box is in use.

    It's hooked up to a Comcast Motorola cable box (same one we've used for years).

    The software version is 9.3.2a-0102-275.

    Any ideas regarding what the problem might be?
