Advertisements Ok, I've enjoyed the first two eps, and last week's Tammy I and II scenes were pretty funny, but this was the first ep of the new season that really hit on all cylinders for me. The Dan Castellanata NPR-style radio host was hysterically subdued, and his closing line "... Oh, yes, they're quite awful. But they're lesbians, so...." was great. The Joan show/Joan's Book Club/"The Time Traveler's Optometrist" bits were awesome. As were the Gotcha! dancers. Loved Joan drunk in the restaurant, and just the whole Ben and Tom scenes. Those two are comedy gold together. Loved Andy as Leslie's Secret Service-style escort, and then becoming, once again, "Bert Macklin FBI!" Heck, I even loved the payoff to the Ann/Ron/April scenes (which hadn't been funny until then), when Ann got all excited that they were finally talking to her, and then Ron calls her the wrong name on purpose, and the switch to the talking head where Ron says he does that whenever someone gets too chummy with him. And then the second payoff, where April calls him "Lester" at the end, and Ron smiles proudly, was even better.
