    Some interesting storylines this week.
Mark is headed for heartbreak but I am glad he at least stood up and said "you can't keep cancelling on me last minute". Sarah will re-devote herself to Seth just in time for him to relapse. What drugs did he do anyway? Just drinking? I don't think Parenthood would let a character be guilty of anything worse than smoking a little pot or drinking too much.

Poor Crosby. In his mind Dr. Joe is hanging out with Jabbar all day teaching him jokes and laughing it up. I wonder if the writers will ever let Crosby say that Dr. Joe being black is an extra source of contention since it is something Dr. Joe can have in common with his son that he can't. He will always look more like he is Jabbar's father than Crosby will.

Julia is just so awkward!!!! She's right of course about the sushi, but maybe she should have let Joel handle it.

I love pretty much everything about this show.

I do think that Mark is probably doomed, but I also think he is the one who is going to break it off as he sees Sarah slipping away from him. (As for Seth, I think it's "just" drinking that is the problem.)

It seems like two of the bigger stars on the show have a reduced role this year. Anyone else notice that?

Just by virtue of the show having such a large (and great!) ensemble, various characters will rotate through the forefront and then background from episode to episode throughout the season. So, no, I haven't really noticed that. Who were you thinking of?

Well, first let me say that I do like the show very much. It's one of only two shows I'm still watching.

Even so, I'm still a guy so here goes. It looks to me like Erika Christensen (Julia) had a breast reduction, implants removed, something. Those things are a lot smaller this year.

I think the just deemphasized them with the way they dress her. They seem fine to me.

She's never seemed particularly stacked to me, although I think she's leaner now than she was when the show first started. Maybe that explains it? Losing weight usually equals losing boobage, unless they're implants.

I about died when Julia was getting ready to have the sushi conversation. She is SO bad with people, there is no possible way that could have gone well!
