I've been letting vast numbers of old and new Good Eats episodes accumulate via a wish list (they are entertaining when I'm bored). I was trying to sort though them using online.tivo.com and it appears as though there is some limit to the number of shows it will let me look at in a folder considerably smaller than the number of episodes I have recorded in that folder.

The list is much longer on the android app (which I still get certificate expired on every damn time I use it).

Just curious but how many are we talking about? Does pyTivo Desktop load them all? (wonder if you can break the UI)

Looks like 50 (isn't that the default size of a single api query?), with no opportunity to 'fetch more'.

I just fired up pyTivo Desktop (1.6.24). I opened a folder on my Roamio Plus that has 67 episodes, but only the newest 50 were listed. There was no indication in the pyTivo Desktop UI that any error occurred. When I tried kmttg (v2.4o) and opened the same folder all 67 episodes were listed.

My TiVo is running TE3 (20.7.4b.RC3). I'd try my Bolt, but it's also TE3 and the largest folders have just 25 episodes.

If you're curious, this is the pyTivo Desktop log:

So I fired up the Android app (4.2.3-1273615) and it shows all 67 episodes.

When I go to online.tivo.com, My Shows, open the folder, click recordings, I can scroll through all 67. Scroll? When did that change!? It used to show a list. Now there is a row of tiles that shows a gigantic thumbnail for the episodes that I can click to watch. I have to click arrows on the left/right to scroll. I suppose this is more similar to how TE4 works? Or more touchscreen friendly?

(The ~67 hours are Vikings on history channel. S2E6-10, S3E1-10, S4E1-20 (except E7 for some reason), S5E1-20, S6E1-10, two specials, and one duplicate (a two hour S5E1 in addition to one hour S5E1 part one an S5E2 part two). I'm going to get around to watching these eventually. Same thing with 44 episodes of Walking Dead. S8E5-16, S9E1-16, S10E1-15 + S10E16 finale preview (finale delayed by coronavirus, no idea when that'll air).)

Interesting. I know when I wrote this part I added in a way to keep querying until all episodes were retrieved. I wonder if there is some bug on the TiVo side? I happen to have a show with more than 50 episodes so I'll check it out.

I think I was wrong and all 67 are showing up. I checked again, and I just got confused with the count. After I changed my TiVo's sort order to match pyTivo Desktop (date), it is easier to see that things do match up. I didn't record all the eps in order.
i.e. the ones I checked at the bottom of the pyTivo Desktop list are, descending S4E3, E2, E1. The three at the top are S6E10, E9, E8, etc. So I thought S3 and S2 and the specials weren't there. It would have made an even 50. Turns out S3 and S2 eps are there, just above, because they were recorded at a later date (a marathon or something) even though they aired before S4-6, etc. My mistake. Sorry for the confusion.

FYI when you're in a folder there is a count of recordings in the lower left corner. No need to count them manually. :)

The android app shows me all of them, but online give up after a while (I got the impression it might be around 80 to 100 or so - I've got zillions of Good Eats/reloaded/return episodes in one wish list folder).
