I have 2 units, cant select the second from drop down menu. The page resets to 1st unit. Seen this since start of the new interface. Have IE6/Firefox3 on XPSP2. Two computers, same response.

    Now I get:
"We're sorry. We are having technical difficulties."
... when I try to navigate the Find TV shows page.

I would have expected this to come before the "Down for Maintenance" message.

Whenever I'm logged in and I click on "View in Listings", the listings are completely blank. If I'm not logged in, it shows the show, but when I try to record it asks me to login. When I do, it just takes me back to the episode page and I'm right back to where I started.

So it sounds like there's two separate issues. Those who have more than one TiVo and can use your workaround to get which one they want, and are then able to record. And those of us who just can't record at all.

Probably Teleworld recordings that Tivo does to record Gold Star ads, etc.

I would setup a SP for your cable news program and set to KAM (Keep At Most) = 1. I actually use a WishList to record my preferred news programming (because its name changes during the day, and I always want the latest to be recorded. I don't usually watch them from the NPL, but I like to turn on the TV and have it tuned to the news, just like yourself.)

    Same here.

I'm a Series 3 owner, and I've experienced almost every problem described in this thread (no programming when signed in, defaulting to non Series-3 DVR, no confirmation when I actually set something to record). It doesn't help that the "Help" section refers back to the old website design, thus rendering it useless.

I adore my Tivo, but the site...bleah.

I was just able to schedule a movie online!

Hopefully it's fixed for good, since some people on the tivo.com forum have said they had sporadic luck getting it to work.

    Here's hoping it's fixed permanently!

I just switched from DirecTV w/a DirecTivo over to Cable+2 S2 Dual Tuner boxes yesterday and it had never worked for me until about 10 minutes ago.

For some reason it is only listing one of my two boxes, even though they both are connected via wireless and are able to connect back to the TiVo service just fine (on their own and when forced/tested). That's probably a separate issue, though.

The web scheduling interface and e-mail confirmation is working for me now. Will see whether the box actually picks up the info correctly.

I still got a "having technical issues" message when browsing past the first page of a search in the Find section.

Although many issues seem to be fixed I'm still having the problem that the Default Tivo in the Airing ON drop down box won't change. If I select another TiVo (I have 3) it re-displays the page with the default tivo.

I can use the work arround suggested by Rocko above, but the basic problem still exists.

Yes, I am having this same problem. I have four Tivos and only the first Tivo can be selected. Is this on Tivo's agenda to fix?

I also have a series 2 on FIOS (49 non working analog channels) and a HD Tivo when I try to use online schedule the browse page shows the series 2 and the find page defaults to the series 2. When I try to change to the HD Tivo the page refreshes to the series 2 again so I can't see the 200 plus channels offered on the HD Tivo.

I called customer service on 7-30 and they duplicated the problem using my account on thier computers. They refered the problem to the proper department (I think they said DDP or something similer). They said it should be fixed in 1-2 days. I'm not holding my breath as I was just on and it still don't work.

I also requested they add a preferences section to choose a default unit for the guide data.

It seems that Tivo must hire graduates from an online IT school. How freaking long can it take to fix a web page? Online scheduling is one of the most important aspects of the Tivo experience for me. Since it's not working, I'm expecting a refund. And that's just what I'm going to ask for.

Hey Tivo, can you really afford to continue to PO customers? Seriously, can you?

Technically, TiVo can't afford to do anything; they're losing money almost every quarter. Most of TiVo's customers have reasonable expectations regarding how responsive they'll be to each type of problem, commensurate with how much the problem prevents the core functionality of the device, i.e., recording and playing back television programs. Something like the inability to set up a recording from the TiVo program guide on the TiVo device itself is likely to get a lot of priority focus, for example.
