Online Scheduling Delays

    Hello,
    I am having a problem when scheduling through the Tivo website. My Premiere works great but my Series 3 is experiencing long delays. For example I requested a program be recorded at 2:30 today this was around 10:00 this morning. I just got the confrimation email around 2:20pm almost 5 hours later. Premiere always sets it up in less than an hour. They are on the same LAN both on wired ethernet. Is there a setting I need to check on my Series 3....any suggestions?

    Doesn't it depend when your TiVo makes its daily connection?

    No, it doesn't. The daily connection is only for guide data. S2 and newer Tivos check in every few minutes for requested recordings.

    To the OP, IME the timing of the confirmation e-mail means nothing. It is not unusual for it to come after the recording has occurred.

    Huh. Well you learn something new every day! I guess I never paid close attention to that on my S3. I'd schedule online then get the confirmation emails X number of hours later and never thought anything of it.
