OK, this has become a thread of peoples favorite TV shows. I think we need more clarity from the OP as to what he means? Are we talking about reruns of old shows we've seen before? Are we talking about new episodes of recycled old shows that don't require SAG writers (such as old game shows, etc.)?

I guess I only ever check the schedule during primetime when there is nothing else on. Will have to set these to record as well!

    That misspelling is HIGHLY ironic.

I don't know if this could be done, but I always thought it would be fun for one of the networks (or their cable affiliates) to take a week in time and replay the whole schedule (maybe even with popups expaining some of the pop culture going on during that time period). So lets say that NBC does a week in 1984. THey could show The Cosby Show, Cheers, Family Ties, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, etc., on the nights they aired originally. With the strike, and the lack of new material, wouldn't something like this be a lot of fun?

Falco. I would love to see the short run of that series again.

My 5 year old loves the DVDs of the first two seasons. I have been getting songs from the 70s on iTunes to play in the car for him because he has been singing them around the house because he heard them done on the Muppet Show. The funniest is hearing him try to belt out "You Gotta Have Friends" along with Bette Midler. Cracks me up every time.

I was thinking V, as well -- but the miniseries, not the subsequent regular TV series. (At least, I hope the strike only continues long enough to air a miniseries.) If the OP allowed miniseries -- sorry, Television *EVENTS* ;) in the mix, I would love a re-airing of:

Lonesome Dove (the original, not any of the sequels)
