Advertisements Firstly, I'm in Canada and the 'official' Tivo statement is that Youtube, Netfiix etc are not available for us here. However.... I first bought an S3 and got my lifetime with it. The lifetime was transferred from the previous US owner. I am able to access Youtube and other choices are available, should I want/need them (ie. Netflix). So then I bought a Premier, for another TV. I had to buy from a US seller since they do not sell them here in Canada. I then got my lifetime for the box, from Tivo. Tivo told me to buy the box from wherever I wanted - they don't care and will support the box for the warranty period etc. so that's all good. I am still able to access Youtube with the S3, but have never been able to access it from the Premier. Tech support just stated that 'it's not available for Canadians', yet they allow me access on the S3. I don't understand? Anyone have a similar experience? There's a guy at work thinking of buying a Premier, but wants to have access to Netflix and Youtube. I've told him that he might be able to get it with an S3, but not with a Premier, but there is no guarantee. Any advice for him? Thanks!
