No TIVO Service

    Hello, I woke up this and when I pressed the Guide the button a message came up and said something like "TIVO Service Unavailable" go to Tivo.com to activate but I have been a "Lifetime Member" for 2 years now with my Premiere. What should I do? Restart? or Activate again? If I activate again will TIVO charge me in anyway?

    The status say's my DVR is activated. I'll try a Restart when I get home from work.

    FYI, Lifetime is not a membership, but a subscription on the TiVo service for the life of the TiVo box, not the life of the person.

    Did a "Restart" when I got home yesterday and now everything is fine again. The guide listings came back. Very strange.

    I've seen it happen before with lifetime and monthly Tivos. They lose their subscription status despite what the System Information screen says. Restarting it has always fixed it for me. Granted I think I have only have it happen 2 or 3 times in the last 5 years.
