On the Main DVR OTA none of the apps work or any video, however I do have internet and can stream AND the Mini streams everything with apps...Do I need to replace the OTA DVR? Been acting funny on/off last 2 weeks

It's difficult to determine from the info you provided.

Can the Mini access TV from the Roamio?

What info does network diagnostics provide?

Can you successfully re-do Network Setup?

Does the TiVo have a listing in your Routers DHCP table?

It looks to me like you answered a bunch of questions that weren't asked...

Very specifically, can the Mini watch shows that are stored on the TiVo? Or see Live TV (that comes from the TiVo)?

DHCP is a function (typically) of your Router. It 'assigns' the IP Address' that the devices on your LAN (network) use to communicate with. Most commonly, the DHCP Server keeps a list of the assigned IP's that can be viewed by logging in to the router admin page. Google that along with your Router's model number for directions on how to do that.

We're just trying to determine if the TiVo has a valid connection to the router...

    What model Bridges?

Do they have a web interface to log in to to check their status?

Are the 'connected' lights lit on the Bridges?

Does your TiVo and Mini have 'static' IP address'?

Are they on the 'same' side of the Bridge?

Are the TiVo and the Mini on the 'same' side of the Bridge?

    What model Bridges?

If the Coax lights (connected) (not the Ethernet lights) are lit, then the Bridge is likely functioning. Can you (successfully) Ping a device on one side of the Bridge from a device on the other side of the Bridge?

Ummm...Could you possibly provide some details?

Maybe what device you were 'pinging' from? Where on the network it was connected? And how?

127.0.0.1 is the 'local' device. So, it seems it didn't send any data actually out on to the network to receive the 'ping' back...

What is the IP Address of your Router? What is the IP Address of whatever device you used to do the ping?

What IP Address is reported by your TiVo? What IP Address is reported by your Mini?

Have you rebooted your Router? You should probably do that...

    >> from desktop wired to router. Pinged the IP that showed upstairs on Mini.

    >> YES more than once.

    >> can check later and get back with more IP info. Seems I used to get into the Tivo info easier before the software update

    K. Peters I do thank you for you time and efforts in helping out. I appreciate everything. Good Luck.

No clue if it would have helped, but keep the UI Reset in mind as a first check when you experience odd network issues on the DVR.

To perform a UI Reset, enter the following remote sequence from TiVo Central:

    Thumbs Down
    Thumbs Up
    Play
    Play

    Same page, different UI...

    TE3 ... TiVo Central
    TE4 ... Home

(... though I don't recall if the UI Reset sequence works on TE4)
