    I just purchased a Blu-Ray player.
Connected Video and Audio to TV.

Then I went over to my Tivo I had no display.
After a 'Time out' period live TV will come on but if I try to go into the menu, the display will scramble and then goes solid blue.

I have tried rebooting the Tivo and the 'Starting up' display is fine but as soon as it kicks into the little video to finish, the display goes out.

I have tried different cables, TV input.

If I disconnect the component cable and connect the composite video cable it is fine.
I have read that it could be interference from another device and since I just placed the new DVD player on top of it... I removed that and it didn't help.

All I did was connect the DVD player.... What gives?

what TV? How's the Blu-Ray connected? Did you input the Blu-Ray where the TiVo used to be? You might now be using an input for the TiVo that can't handle the output you have the TiVo set for(720p/1080i).

I connected the Blu-Ray player into my Mitz HD 55" Wide screen TV into the DTV input.
I found that I could not set the DVD player onto 1080 unless I used the DTV input.

This input was not the same one the Tivo was one.
I did but touch any input/output of the Tivo connections at all prior to first going over to the Tivo and finding it was not working.

    I feel better now.
Realized that I hit the resolution button on the front of the Tivo.
Reconnected the component cables and found the setting it should be on and it is now fixed.

    Thanks,
    Debbie
