Is it true that " TIVO" now makes a receiver that can be used with DTV ?
Nope! At least not one that directly tunes and records the satellite channels.
SD standalone TiVo's could be used behind an SD DirecTV STB, but that cannot be done with either the S3 or the TiVo HD, since there is no compatible tuner output to TiVo input combination capable of passing HDTV signals.
Technically speaking... they never stopped..
Their SA Recorders, that accept analog inputs.. can be used with DirecTV receiver boxes as the source..
But as for a new integrated unit... no, they are not building one.
Yes, they always have. That's nothing new...
A "TiVo" can be used with anything.
Actually the series 3's and TivoHD's are, I believe, cable only.
I would like to see you brew coffee with it Coffee comercials can be skipped with it,but.......
I threw my tivo in the pool and It did not clean my pool either
Me thinks we might be victims of a troll The OP has been on this forum for over 4 years and is just discovering this now
But, was it fun playing "dive for the silver box" at a pool party?
Or OTA antenna. (not a big deal no, but I'm just sayin'.....)
It got really interesting after i plugged it in We had a huge serving of Fried party guests after that
Oops! Sorry, It didn't do my laundry or mow the yard.
