New Tivo HD and S3 "lost" OTA Channel Problem?

    Anybody with the lost OTA channel problem on the series 3 tried out the new Tivo HD?

    Mine is sitting here still packed up until I can figure out what I'm going to do with it.

    Don't need it, but couldn't pass up yesterday's $218 special.

    Cable Company is going to want another $50 truck roll to activate the cable cards once I take them out of the series 3 and put them into the new Tivo D so I'd like to find out if it's likely to solve the problem first.

    You can't do it over the phone? Most cable companies will allow it if you already have CableCards. You just have to talk to the right person.
