I love the funny lists characters on this show do. It seems to be a thing. Last week Schmidt had a couple of funny lists, this week I loved Jess' list of sexual things she wanted to do with Paul. "Big Time" Schmidt did also do a list of the sexiest holidays. "Fourth of July, uh... Independence Day obviously, Women's History Month, and Christmas."

I noticed the ****** jar in an early scene and was glad it was back. I wondered if it would be mentioned and I heard Nick yell "Jar" twice.

"It's like a Prince video in here".

    I liked this episode.

"There are TWO of them?" Is "Mac" gonna be a recurring character?

Spoilerized info about 'Mac' (I assume you mean Paul, Justin Long)

I think I read he was signed for three episodes.

    Yes..

I could have also said Warren P Chesiwick. :)

I just forgot his character's name from last night's show.

I thought this episode was the best one yet. I busted up at the turkey in the dryer.

Funny that Schmidt had no issues with people hugging a raw turkey on the carpet given his germaphobia.

That was one of the ridiculous things about this episode. (Note I still laughed at it a lot, though Jess' wackiness seemed even more over the top.)

I would say I know basically NOTHING about cooking, but:
    1) you put a turkey in WATER to defrost it quicker (and there's no way it would really still be frozen solid overnight)
    2) so even if it were completely defrosted, TURKEYS TAKE MANY MANY MANY HOURS TO COOK IN THE OVEN. They mentioned that he'd be there in 3 hours. Basically, they should've said they'd get take out at that moment.

Gee, product placement much? (Note, it actually DOESN'T really bother me, as much as I hate regular commercials.. and was that in front of a real store? Seeing the "No right turn" sign and such out of the parking lot made it look like not a set..)

    That I can answer authoritatively.

The Best Buy seen is an actual Best Buy in West Los Angeles.
(I bought my Series 2 there.)

It's on the other side of the Freeway from the Fox Lot.

Another good episode. Seeing the turkey tumbling around in the dryer was hilarious. I'm also glad that they turned the tables a little bit with Cece being into Schmidt rather than the other way around. That will make for some funny situations if they keep it up.

You haven't kept up with the times. We bought a 'cook it frozen' turkey last year and it was wonderful. Pop it in the oven fully frozen and a couple hours later it was perfectly done. I'm not quite sure what the magic is but it sure works.

I just checked: It's from Jennie-O and cooks at 375 for 3.5 hours. Easy Peasy.

It must be a ridiculously small turkey.. You don't mean a WHOLE turkey with bones, do you? Some kind of turkey loaf?

Turkeys take like 8 hours or something to cook..

8 hrs.? Not really. Even a 30lb turkey usually takes only about 6 hrs. 5 hrs. if it's not stuffed.

It's a 12 pound turkey, not what I consider ridiculously small, and it does include bones.

You gotta get out more. :)

Sure is nice to actually laugh at a comedy. The writing and acting is this is fantastic. :D

    Amsterdam,...
I know the conversation is old, but my wife made a 5.3 kg turkey for Thanksgiving (about 11 lbs) and it was fully cooked in about 3 hours and 15 minutes. It was enough to feed 9 people.

We had a 19 lb turkey and it was fully cooked in just over 3 hours as well.

I guess my mom just used to make way bigger turkeys. I remember her getting up at like 6AM and the turkey was probably in the oven by 8AM at least, and we'd eat 3PM or later..
