I have an old Toshiba RSTX20 that I reactivated for use in my guest bedroom. I previously had an old Belkin USB/wired ethernet adapter on it, but I can no longer find it and, of course, Belkin hasn't made that for years. The Tivo-branded wireless NICs are ludicrously expensive. Does anyone know of an inexpensive wired or wireless NIC that will work with Series 2/Toshiba RSTX20 Tivos?

Wow, I didn't think Belkin still even MADE that one. IIRC, that was the only "non-Tivo" adapter that would work with Series2-era boxes. Thanks. I had one of those years ago but it got eaten by a lightning strike which fortunately didn't go beyond that adapter.

You can probably find a TiVo wireless G USB adapter on Craigslist somewhere for around $20 or so, and since it has its own little microprocessor built in it puts a lot less processing load on the TiVo's CPU, so won't appreciably slow it up.
