I actually didn't think the first season was as horrible as "everyone" seemed to be saying. I may give it a shot.

I've only seen the first two, but so far the show (and Danny) is worlds better.

I didn't hate the first season as much as most people, but it had serious problems. This one doesn't, yet.

Danny Rand made an appearance in season 2 of Luke Cage and he seemed totally different from his character in season 1 of Iron Fist. He seemed much more mature and far less whiny. If he maintains that personality in Iron Fist season 2 then it will definitely be worth watching.

I'm not even sure I finished Season 1. Maybe I will skip straight to 2.

One review I read says that Misty Knight and Colleen Wing play much bigger roles this season which I am all for.

They do. I won't say exactly how big, but it's really, really surprising how big!

Through episode 3, it's a bit of a slog. The fight scenes are better this year, but the story hasn't grabbed me yet.

It's a slow burn, but it became more and more interesting as the season progressed and things started coming together.

Interestingly, some characters who bored or annoyed me at first became more interesting and complicated over time. And the ending is a real shocker, such that I honestly don't know where they'll go from here.

It's definitely a binge show...I don't know if I could have taken waiting a week between episodes. Not that I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation, but that I would have risked losing interest during that week, especially early on. It worked much better as a ten-hour movie than it would have as ten weekly chapters.

I'm on episode six and it's much better than the original. I don't think I enjoy Iron Fist as much as the other Netflix Marvel shows because of Danny Rand's personality. The character is much better in season 2 but he's still so stupidly headstrong that it's hard to fully embrace him. It's good for the show and the Danny's character that Colleen Wing is such a strong character to make up for his deficiencies. Also, Ward and Joy are both such despicable characters that the show really slogs down when they get significant screen time.

I can't help it. Every time I hear the name "Davos", I think of the Doctor Who character.

??? Doctor Who character? What are you talking about?!?

Oh wait, you mean Davros? That's completely different! He has an "R"!

    :D

I keep thinking "Davros" for "Davos." Which is a little weird, because I read Iron First long before I ever saw Doctor Who...

First season was a setup for season 2. Season 1 completed some story lines and left others open for season 2. Watched Season 2 Episode 1 last night and thought it was pretty good. Hope the rest of the season contains as much action.

Anyone else notice there is not much TV worth watching this summer? So "IF" appears better than it should????

No, I think it appears as good as it is.

It's a much better show than the first season!

Add me to the list that did not understand the hate for the first season. I rather enjoyed it.

I am only two episodes in this season. It seems to still be ramping up so I am not sure how much better or worse it may be yet.
