Our neighbor has a number of Premieres and the all run the Netflix app fine except the one in the kitchen, which refuses to run it, though it activates fine. Crashes as soon as you load it and points you to Tivo.com/support. The only thing I can figure out is that TV can only display 480p, while all the others can do 720p and up. Does the netflix app require more than 480p to run?

Is the Tivo set to only output at 480P for that TV?

If I were him I would move the Premieres around to see if there is a problem with that specific Premiere or not. If it still crashes on another TV and other units have no problem in is kitchen I would try to get the unit replaced if under warranty.

Set to do 480i or 480p on that Premiere, because that's the limit of that LCD TV.

Everything else displays fine. only Netflix crashes.

Just a follow on this issue. Reboot fixed the netflix crashing problem on our neighbor's Premiere.
