The female HDMI connector on my Tivo no longer works and I need a new one. I've done all the troubleshooting and know that it isn't my receiver, cable, or even Tivo box.

Earlier, I could get it to work by jiggling the cable a lot. Now that no longer works anymore and I need to replace the piece.

Is there anywhere that I can buy it? And are there any instructions?

I modified by hard drive, so I don't think it is under warranty.

Their are some people that can do solder work on the TiVo motherboard, but to find that part would not be easy, and to un-solder and re-solder that part on the motherboard takes more skill than replacing the hard drive. You may just have to use the component outputs, you will not find much video difference on most HD TVs

I have a tivoHD and a comcast cable box connected to the same tv. I am using HDMI from the Tivo. The Comcast box only has componet. So far I have not seen any difference when switching back and forth between the two as far as picture quaility. So use the tivo's componet output for now.

Just replace mine with one I removed from my HDDVD player. Looks to be a common part.

I think you can pick one up here.
