"President Obama's farewell speech to the nation" on Tuesday (Jan.10th, NBC live, 6pm PST/7m/8c/9e) will require the network to juggle its regularly-scheduled programs for that night. (This probably is most urgent for the Eastern coast, but affects each time zone differently.)
per TVLine - This Is Us' Return: How Will Obama's Tuesday Speech Affect It?
NBC's wonky Jan. 10 primetime schedule:

    Eastern time zone
    8 p.m. — The Wall
    9 p.m. — President Obama address
9:40 p.m. — The Wall (repeat, joined in progress)
    10 p.m. — This Is Us

    Central time zone
    7 p.m. — The Wall (original)
    8 p.m. — President Obama address
8:40 p.m. — The Wall (repeat, joined in progress)
    9 p.m. — This Is Us

    Mountain time zone
    7 p.m. — President Obama address
7:40 p.m. — The Wall (Dec. 19 episode, joined in progress)
    8 p.m. — This Is Us
    9 p.m. — The Wall

    Pacific time zone
    8 p.m. — The Wall
    9 p.m. — This Is Us
    10 p.m. — This Is Us (repeat of 9 p.m. episode)

    Enjoy!

Thanks for the heads up. Of course, the guide data is not up to date. I'm in the Pacific time zone and glad that prime time isn't affected. :)

Make me wonder if CBS knew earlier since they have repeats during prime time.

update: Seems Gracenote/ABC has the address at 9pm for 30 minutes.

If the past is any indication, I am sure Rovi will screw up primetime recordings royally that night because it will not have amended the guide data correctly or in time.

    Unfortunately, that's a pretty safe bet. :(

The guide has the Pres. Addr. showing for Tuesday. Not that it reflects anything political, but:
    CBS, ABC show 30 minutes
    NBC shows 40 minutes
    Fox shows 25 minutes

Bones seems to be the only "new" program affected.

    Gee, Joe, that's a shocker. :D

My guide still shows the 6-7pm slot 'News 4 Nightly' which, I guess, is the local yokel nightly news. I imagine the address will occur within that hour.

Don't slip on my dripping sarcasm. Also, if you record The Tonight Show, it's not going to record if the 1P is set to "new only" on Monday night. Maybe I should start a thread.

Or not since it has an OAD of 12/1/16.

Gettin' kinda old having to constantly monitor recordings and should-be recordings. I just sat down to watch a show I had recorded (yesterday, I think). Well, imagine my delight (NOT) when I started to watch and it was something else entirely.

I'm also seeing shows that are shown as 'new', yet with an OAD from the past. Really? How it is not just either one (new) or the other (not new, cuz the OAD right there in the data shows it's not new)? /rhetorical

There are just so many things wrong and I don't have it nearly as bad as some poor subscribers. About once a week I see something in my 'To Do' list that is just TBA. It's usually in the middle of the night and not even something that I scheduled to record, not something new, etc. I don't do 'suggestions', either. Thank goodness for that!

Weird that the 9pm this is us episode didn't get skipmode, but the 10m rerun did.. I was about 40 minutes in at 11, so switched to the other one..
