My Tivo is networked, but Can't see music or now playing

    I have searched and searched for possible help with this problem to no avail, so any advice would be greatly appreciated...

    I recently hooked up my Series 2 to my home network (wired, using a linksys router and netgear FA120 adapter) I was easily able to connect to the internet for my downloads and to schedule recordings through Tivo Central, but my Tivo Desktop won't connect to my Tivo and Vice Versa...

    Can anyone please help... I'ev been through 4 calls to the support center and it's still not working.

    I had a similar problem. Make sure your Tivo has software version 7.X That solved it for me.

    I have all the right software 7.2 and desktop version 2.2... I'm stumped... they are telling me that it might take as long as 72 hours for my tivo to be recognized by my computer even though my settings say a, a, a next to tivo to go and my online preferences say allow transfers... any one else have any advice???
