Don't forget that Earl worked his way up from docker to be a salesman (though he lost it when he went to prison). Plus, it seems Randy has had a job from last nites episode.

From the looks of their apt and the motel, 75K could last a very long time.

When is Earl going to tattoo the escape plans all over his body?

Normally, with most shows, that's what I'd expect; but they kept repeating that "two years", like they were laying the groundwork. Plus, they took a whole season for Joy to come to trial.

I think Earl could do a lot of good in prison, even if it's not with list items. Maybe it would be a way for him to start moving beyond the list. But it does limit his interaction with the rest of the cast.

    +1... he was brilliant. I couldn't figure out where I knew him from until I googled him (6FU & X-Men 3).

BTW, small production error... in the opening where Earl says, "My Name is Inmate 28301-016", the number on his shirt is something else. After the opening, however, the number matched.

I think the shot in the opening was reused footage from last year.

He may have been sentenced to two years, but won't he be paroled in one?

You should have really spoilerized the first item Diana
As it refers to episodes of DW yet to be aired in the US

It was OK, but the season finale (which I finally just watched last night, too) was much better.

I was losing interest in the show toward the end of last year. That's probaby why it took me four months to watch the finale. This episode doesn't really have me that enthusiastic to start watching again.

Better get used to it. NBC ordered 30 episodes of Earl (and The Office, too) for this season, which is 8 more than normal, so we are going to see a lot of double eps like this one was.

Oops, my bad, I watched the series the unmentionable way and lost track of the SciFi airings.
