"While he's gone, we should clean him out.
Sick a those grocery workers walkin around like they're better than us."

"What are you going to do with that $25 gift certificate to Applebee's?"
(pause. look at gift certificate) "Guess I'll go to Applebees."

    cracked me up.

Alyssa Milano remains easy to look at.

Glad they got back to the list, but I was hoping Alyssa would be a permanent addition to the show. Now it just appears that she'll be a temporary fling because Earl already doesn't like her.

"award goes to... Earl Hickey's going to bag?
Ladies and Gentlemen, Earl Hickey's going to bag!"

(I'm just curious - did everyone get that reference? I've seen the source movie more than a dozen times, so it was funny to me.)

not me...I hope Alyssa goes away soon...I'd rather have more of Catalina and Joy...not eye candy-wise, they are just funnier and the show is better the old way...

Yeah, they spent all that time building up the character, only to completely trash her in the last two episodes. Kinda like with the Randy/Catalina romance. (Aren't they still technically married?)

The list item story was good, though.

I'm assuming Karate Kid. Also, did anyone else think that was Catalina, playing the "bag over the head" girl?

Yes, definitely Karate Kid. I don't think it was Catalina, from what I could see  ;)

Not a bad episode but not great. I did laugh at Joy and Darnell's on-its-side trailer though.

Man, those hands were sooooooo nasty. I loved it.

Just before the Karate Kid reference happened, I thought that this would be a good moment for a KK reference. When they actually did it, I mentally high-fived myself.:D

    Atlanta,...
I got the Karate Kid vibe immediately. Nice work! But if they had used the same Joe Esposito song "You're the Best" that was playing during some of the competition scenes in KK, it would have been over the top awesome!

I was waiting for some Mr. Miagyi hand friction to fix Earl when he was in the locker room. It was awesome.
