Not sure what to make of this series. It seems to have high production values. Titling your first episodes with the first names of your major characters seems to be a fad now.

It has a lot of familiar actors, though it drove me crazy for like half an hour before I could place Melanie Lynskey as Rose from Two and a Half Men. I didn't recognize Tracey Ullman at all until I saw her name in the credits.

Is this the one labelled FX/HULU? I wanted to watch the Schlafly story but do not subscribe to Hulu so I guess I'm out of luck?

It seems to be equal parts Schlaffly, Steinem, and Friedan. Maybe they are trying to argue that the ERA failed because of that triangulation.

Seems to me they're saying it failed because Schlaffly had a plan, and each of the pro-ERA activists had a plan; and while they were all getting in each other's way, Schlaffly was getting it done.

Schlaffly was quite a woman. She would get into great arguments with opponents, male and female, and would keep that smile on her face, always polite, while opponent would seethe, wanting to rip her face off! It was something to watch.

I wasn't aware of Schlaffly. But it looks like from your description Cate Blanchett is doing a remarkable job.

Odd that they spent so much of this episode on Alice's accidental drug trip.

    Which was hilarious, but...odd.

Seems like they are setting up for some of Schaffly's minions to become woke and cause a crisis in her crusade. Or maybe they wanted to show one side was getting their act together while the other was developing fissures.
