Hello I have a Phillips 6000 and a Hughs 250 DVRs. I am moving to new house next week. Currently I own both houses. I would like to move one unit over and keep the other working at current address until setup is complete at new house. Also I don't have phone turned on at new house yet. So my questions are, can I use a unit at new house w/o phone line. And can I have the old house still functioning while moving over. And will Directv allow me to do this.????

Not a problem. I assume you have a dish at the new house? You can do without the phone connection. You don't have to tell DirecTV about this yet - just let them know when your move is complete.

I assume that both houses are in the same area so you don't have to worry about different spot local channels.

Thanks for reply. Thats what I was thinking some. I'll just make sure to force an update on it before I bring it over.
