    Anyone seen this before?

    Short version:

    1. TiVo drive fried by Lightning Strike

    2. Bought 300GB drive

    3. Secured a clean 6.2 image in .mfs form

    4. Copied to external USB drive

    5. Booted using MFSLive 1.3 Linux Boot CD

    6. Can't mount any of the drives using the commands in the mfslive.org page

    a. mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /dos
    b. mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /dos

    Message is always "mount...failed"

The drive is a new Seagate EIDE and the USB is a Toshiba 160GB.

Not necessarily a newbie, but it's been a while since I had to upgrade so it's not fresh in my mind. Search gave me no results on "mount failed" so I'll keep looking but I thought I'd put the question out.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Never mind guys...got it.

the File system on the USB is NTFS so I should have been using that instead of "vfat"...duh!...
