    Money Heist

I made mention in the Streaming thread, but I wanted to highlight this show. If you don't mind Spanish subtitles or dubbed English, this is one of the best shows I have watched in years.

    From the Article:
Like a cross between Ocean’s Eleven, Baby Driver and (in its more soap-opera moments) Prison Break, Money Heist is a lithe, punchy crime drama, and its second half hit Netflix on Friday (April 6). Its Spanish name is way cooler: La Casa de Papel translates as ‘House of Paper’ or ‘Paper House’ – subtly teasing the brutal plot of this series, which follows a group of criminals infiltrating the Royal Mint of Spain to print 2.4 billion euros during an 11-day police siege.

What a great show. I highly recommend watching it with Italian or Spanish audio and English subtitles. It is so much more raw.

I got into this show a few months ago. Really enjoyed it. I I hate watching dubbed dialogue, si i agree on the above comment.

    Somewhat spoiler ahead...

Really annoyed that the 2nd heist is split over 3 parts/seasons (or more?). Was looking forward to a resolution on this next set if episodes.

I've been a fan for a while. The English dub has been one of the best I've seen

Should I watch Season 1 before starting Season 2?

There is a lot of character development in Season 1. I would definitely watch that first.

well, considering season 2 was the conclusion of season 1's plot, it would really not make much sense to start with 2.

and part 3 definitely would not want to just jump in there without all the back story and context of Seasons 1 and 2.

Having watched all four, I also advise watching the documentary ("Money Heist: The Phenomenon"). It's really quite interesting. But only after watching the whole thing! It has spoilers from throughout.

I was a bit surprised to learn that the first two "parts" were made for Spanish TV, where it bombed. It was then dumped on Netflix with no advertising, which is when it took off globally. Nobody was expecting that there would ever be a sequel.

loved the show (Spanish dialogue of course to listen to Nairobi!!), but the last season got more than unbelievable. more missed shots fired than WD! Major surgery but on her feet in an hour! but overall we liked it very much!
