Different clip than I saw but same principal. The only trick is to stop before the cork pops all the way out and spills, like what happened in that clip.

I thought the episode title from last week would have made more sense for the season finale.

I like that they were dressed like kids, rescued from the tree house, and then acting like kids in the back of a minivan!

Last week's episode was the last one produced for the season, and it seems that it was originally intended to be the season finale, but sometime after that episode was produced, someone decided that this episode, with its pseudo flashbacks to other episodes from this season, and the whole family being together at the end, made for a better season finale. I guess I can see where they were coming from, but I think last week's episode, with the graduation and that title, would have worked better as the season finale.

Mitchell: Where did you learn that?
Claire: Where did YOU get a sailor suit on such short notice? :p
    Mitchell: Touche! ;)

Noticed that too about the CC.

Weird, how some CC is "doing extra duty" (he said doody) like this, and some is just really bad.. Though to be honest, in this case, I think it's lame that the CC "gave away the joke".

Would deaf people really not understand the joke?

 Julie Bowen looked real good.

Did Lily make a noise on camera this whole season?

That's probably on purpose. If she actually said anything they'd have to pay her more. :p

I almost lost it during that scene, especially when Cameron tried to explain to the people listening that "it's OK, I'm talking to an 11 year old boy," or something similar to that.

I brought that up last week. Did you notice this week, there were a few scenes where people were talking to her and she just looked down? One was at the pool and the other was when the woman thought Phil was her father.

You mean prior to this episode? She was crying at the beginning of the episode, which is what prompted Cam to dump her off on Gloria.

Lily, the character, was crying. But the actress who plays her was not in that scene, so that was probably just a sound effect.

You know what used to do your job in my day? A hose.

Then you could consider the penultimate episode of the season as the Finale and the last episode as the Encore!

Years ago I did a (pre-mainstream internet) cartoon strip that had to be translated into French, and where I had a sound effect in the English version, the French translation came back (from a person, not an internet translation service) as something spelled completely differently and did NOT sound anything like what the sound was supposed to be. I contacted the translator in Montréal, and asked her what she meant by her version. She told me that her work translated literally into "Sound Effect". ?!! So I kept my original "english/universal" spelling of my sound for the French version. Okay, so the words were translated into French, but the pictures were in English. ;)

Julie Bowen ALWAYS looks real good. Yummy!

I smiled at the scene between Cam and Mitchell when Lily wouldn't stop crying. My husband and I have so been there at 2 AM the last couple of weeks. :)

I love how the broken step has become personified by Phil. It's gone from "Gotta fix that" to "Not now!" or "Seriously?!". He's now yelling at the step for tripping him up instead of yelling at himself for not fixing it.

Great finale, great season. Sad part is that it's' back to reality in our own family, until next season ;)
